What are the benefits of eye bolt?

It is important to understand managing tall buildings where access is restricted to carry out maintenance to the external structure, the use of rope access techniques will be the most economical approach. However, if there are no anchoring systems for abseilers to descend, an eyebolt anchoring system is required.

It is the responsibility of the building owner to ensure their eyebolts are up to standard providing equipment record detailing all periodic examinations and any other change that may affect to the users (abseilers). It is legally required that all eyebolts installed are subject to a pull off test in accordance to Lifting Operation Lifting Equipment Regulation (LOLER). An application that is used for a Fall Protection must be tested annually, whereas an active eyebolt that is used to undertake maintenance work or window cleaning must be tested every six months.

We will provide Class A1 anchor eyebolts and install them with your instructions based on the condition of the structure and requirements.
 
The eyebolts can be installed in a number of substrates which can be concrete, steelwork structural, cavity construction, timber and brickwork to form the main load bearing for the primary structure.
